• Supervise, schedule and manage up to fifteen student staff

• Instruct students on all aspects of grounds maintenance and property upkeep 

• Using ArcGIS Field Maps map irrigation systems, landscape planter locations and new tree plantings to streamline maintenance and asset depreciation.  

• Connect irrigation to cloud-based management software, maintain accurate records of campus-wide irrigation system health and status.

• Collaborate with animal keepers and other staff in evaluating and planning landscape and horticulture needs, specialty zone area plant selection, landscape and gardening practices to ensure animal care, horticulture, safety and guest service requirements.

Seasonal Maintenance Worker | June 2017 to April 2018

• Maintained pump station and police station exteriors.

• Work included pruning, deadheading, and identifying pests on city plants.

• Excavated river rock from planting beds before installation of target species into bioswales.

• Designed selected planters for use on Trimet downtown line.
